ElectriNET, based in Gisborne is a member of the Horizon Energy Group and is Eastland's largest consolidated services Contractor, covering power, plumbing, electrical and building services. We are currently recruiting for an Electrician to join our team. This is a permanent full time position.

Reporting to the Electrical Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining electrical wiring, machinery, instrumentation and control systems and components to required specifications ensuring economy, quality, reliability, safety and sustainability.
  • Undertaking residential, commercial and industrial customer electrician duties to promote the successful delivery of projects.
  • Building strong long term relationships with our customers ensuring they see ElectriNET as a preferred supplier with excellent customer service and technical support.

To be successful our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, experience and skills:

  • Current New Zealand EWRB Practising Licence
  • Hold an appropriate provisional electrical qualification
  • Current NZ Drivers Licence
  • Minimum of 2 years in associated activities
  • Commercial and industrial installation experience preferred
  • Familiar with distribution systems and associated procedures an advantage
  • Knowledge of all appropriate industry rules and regulations
  • Knowledge of Electrical Wiring Regulations and Codes of Practice
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulatory requirements
